Not Just a Massage

"When I went to see Carey I thought I was just going to see another massage therapist. I was pleasantly surprised at how much she knows about the human body and how to work out my aches and pains. She has done wonders for my Carpel Tunnel problems!"

About Carey Regert, Massage Therapist

Through the eyes of a Bodyworker:

Massage Therapist, Carey Regert

From the first moment I laid my hands on a body with the intension of healing, I knew that I was where I always should have been in the first place. My career has enabled me to meet people I never thought I would. People like Anne Richards, Rick Barnes, and Pat Green. I have always felt honored to work with all my clients big or small. These experiences led me to the belief that good massage therapy services should be available to all individuals not just high profile clients like these. Therefore I have made my massage services as affordable as I can.

Nevertheless, it is my belief that the human body needs and deserves to experience true relaxation. Something that is missing in today’s society. Without it disease and illness are the end result. It is my intension to show people that touch therapy can be therapeutic in relieving all kinds of health issues without being evasive to the body. True healing happens when touch is given with compassion and a healing intension. Pain can be relieved and dysfunction can be dimensioned. After receiving touch therapy body awareness allows one to take part in their own well-being and begin a new relationship with themselves. I believe that an individual is a whole being, not merely the sum of parts. Therefore I do my best to help all my clients either begin their journey towards well-being or I help clients down their path to well-being. This journey may be the desire to find relief from a certain pain or recover from an emotional or physically trauma. It can also be the desire to move more easily or to sleep more soundly. Whatever it may be I welcome all clients that I can help and if I can’t then I am happy to help clients find someone who can. I humble myself to all that entrust their healthcare needs with me.

My skills in massage and bodywork include: Swedish, deep tissue, Stone massage, polarity therapy, and trigger point therapy and in August I will be trained in myofascial release. I am always taking classes to increase my skills. Therefore I participate in more continuing education classes then the state requires. I also have a strong interest in learning more about aromatherapy, herbs, vitamins therapies, exercises, and stretches that I can pass along to my clients so I can help my clients ultimately achieve optimal health.

On a more personal level, my husband and I live in North Round Rock with our two sons, Ayden and Brennan. We also have two cats, Mittens and Zoe, and a puppy named Lexie. My family and pets all hold a special place in my heart and always will. I see them all as gifts from the divine being from above. They all came into my life at the right time and brought me to the place I am now. For that I honor them for challenging me to be the healer I am today. Life is what it should be.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my services, or if you would like to schedule an appointment. I would love to work with you.

It is my hope that all people experience true health and experience life the way they were intended to.

In Light and Love,
Carey Regert
